City of Melbourne is reviewing and updating parking across the city as we deliver on our Parking and Kerbside Management Plan. We are working to make sure the city’s limited parking and kerbside space works well for local businesses, residents, and visitors. The parking controls that apply in each neighbourhood need to be simple and effective.

As part of our neighbourhood parking reviews, we are running a series of workshops with the community.

The purpose of the workshops is to:

  • Review feedback and data of Docklands and Fishermans Bend parking currently available.
  • Provide an opportunity for you to share your experiences of parking in your neighbourhood.
  • Identify key parking issues in your neighbourhood and the locations where these issues occur.
  • Gain feedback on proposed parking improvement options.

Follow this page for future workshop dates.

Docklands and Fishermans Bend parking workshop

Our community workshop for the Docklands and Fishermans Bend Parking Review, scheduled for Wednesday 5 March, has been cancelled due to low registration numbers. We understand this may be disappointing and apologise for any inconvenience.

We are still committed to hearing from the community to understand parking needs for businesses, residents and visitors, so in place of the workshop format, we will conduct intercept surveys at key locations across the area, including:

  • Local business precincts
  • On‑street and off‑street parking hotspots.

This approach will help us reach a wider cross-section of the community and capture real-time insights from people using local services and parking.

In the meantime, you can share your feedback by:
