Spot sensors and learn about park data with our Argyle Square map

May 10, 2022

Launched this week, our new foldout map invites you to explore how we’re using sensors in Argyle Square in Carlton. We want you to try it out and tell us what you think.

Our new map shares information about our sensor types, how you can see the data, sensor locations and – most importantly – why we’re collecting data here.

Pick up a copy at any City of Melbourne library, pop-up library or visitor centre, or download a digital copy (PDF 991 KB). Then, visit Argyle Square so that you can use the map to spot the sensors. We’ve installed stickers near our sensors so that they’re easier to spot. You can also scan QR codes to see sensor data and detailed information.

As we continue to sense our public spaces, we want to explore ways to share sensor information with you, understand what information you’d like to know, and ensure your ideas and thoughts are considered as we look to future sensing projects.

Share your feedback about our map and learn more on our project page.
