We are super excited to have Fine Selection x Akana - two independent labels take residency in our retail pop-up for the month of November!

Show your support for two local makers and shop their amazing designs, as they take over our Bourke Street windows and reimagine the retail space at Micro-Labs. They are also running in-house live sewing demonstrations - so come learn how incredible designs come to life!

Fine Selection offers a one-of-a-kind collection of Bamboo Turkish sand-free beach towels; Bamboo and Linen dressing gowns, robes, kimonos; all with a sustainable material approach. Our robe collection is genderless and great for all ages, also for kids as well!

Each pair of Akana's begins life as pieces of leather cut for different shoe sizes using ready-made lasts. The premium full-grain leather comes worked and tanned from an established Istanbul tannery

Once the leather is cut into pieces, it moves through each artisan in the atelier getting sewn, stretched and stitched. Apart from the use of the sewing machine and the rubber sole, artisans craft the shoes based on the 600-year-old tradition as has been passed down from generation to generation.
