Gardiner Reserve underwent a substantial expansion and upgrade in 2018-19 which included the planting of new trees and shrubs, improved pedestrian paths, a new picnic area, and an upgrade to the children’s playground.

Initial community feedback suggested there may be a need for a public toilet in this location and community consultation was open from 11 May to 6 June 2021.

The public toilet installation will be completed in early 2022.
