We know that graffiti tagging impacts cleanliness and feelings of safety in an area, while strategically placed street art can significantly enhance the look and feel of a location.

Our aim is to build on our existing Graffiti Management Plan 2014-18 which focuses on:

  • eradicating unwanted graffiti tagging through our graffiti removal program
  • preventing graffiti through education
  • cultivating high quality street art.

Community consultation was open from 23 November to 20 December and the final Graffiti Management Policy was endorsed by Council on 15 June.
