City of Melbourne is seeking 4 community members to play an active, advisory role in planning and managing our beloved open spaces. As a member of our Parks and Gardens Advisory Committee, you’ll sit alongside technical representatives and fellow community members for a 2-year term, representing the interests of your fellow Melburnians and providing advice to Council to help our garden city thrive.
Together, you’ll help implement our open space and nature-focused strategies, contribute to the planning, review and development of new and existing parks, and shape community-led greening initiatives.
Now is an exciting time to join the committee – we’re working hard to make Melbourne the garden city, investing in our green spaces, fast tracking key projects and helping community bring nature into their neighbourhoods. If you’re passionate about our parks and gardens and want to make a meaningful impact on Melbourne’s urban landscape, this is your chance.
Submit an expression of interest on Participate Melbourne before Friday 19 June.
