We’re committed to reducing waste across the City of Melbourne.

As our population grows, now more than ever we need to get smarter about how much we consume, and how we can direct more waste to sustainable services like recycling and food organics and garden organics (FOGO).

From 20 October to 24 November we asked City of Melbourne residents what they think about our waste services, how we can help to better manage household waste, and how they want us to communicate with them.

Feedback will be used to plan for and improve our waste services for residents, and to ensure we are communicating about waste in a way that works for them. Follow this page to stay updated.

Consultation closed 5pm Monday 24 November.
