Second i-Tree training session announced for Citizen Foresters

January 4, 2017

Throughout January and February, volunteers in the Citizen Forester program are helping to undertake a detailed assessment of the City of Melbourne’s urban forest. Using the i-Tree Eco assessment method, this analysis will help us to understand and quantify the benefits of the urban forest.

A second training session has been announced for Citizen Foresters, to be held:

Tuesday 17 January

1:00pm - 3:00pm

Council House 2, 240 Little Collins Street

In the training session volunteers will learn about i-Tree Eco and how the data collection process works, before going out into the field and practicing data collection.
