Amendment C466 makes minor changes and improvements to the Melbourne Planning Scheme to ensure it is clear, concise and up to date.

This is a routine and regular process that all councils undertake as needed.

This amendment proposes minor, administrative changes that aim to make the scheme easier to use and understand. The changes impact zone and overlay schedules, maps and an incorporated document. Key changes relate to the following areas:

  • advertising sign requirements
  • 'minor sports and recreation facility' permit requirements
  • ‘minor works’ requirements
  • rezoning 70-90 Chelmsford Street, Kensington to 'Public Park and Recreation Zone'
  • description and mapping of heritage places and significant trees.

If you’re a landowner or user of the planning scheme, we invite you to have your say on the proposed changes.

Your feedback will inform how we proceed with these changes to the scheme.
