This project is supported by the Victorian Government through the New and Upgraded Dog Parks Program.

Clayton Reserve Dog Park is much loved by dog owners. Due to its popularity and high use, the community have told us about the need to upgrade key features to current standards.

The size and shape of the proposed park is to remain the same. However, we’re trialling a ‘quiet’ and ‘confident’ dog zone and would love to hear your thoughts!

Council is proposing the following upgrades, subject to total available budget:

  • quiet dog (smaller space) and confident dog (larger space) areas
  • upgraded fence and dual access gates at 3 locations
  • lighting at gate entrances and retaining existing lighting
  • improved path network
  • upgraded drainage and irrigation
  • additional trees and seating
  • additional sensory landscaping
  • upgraded signage.
