Consultation open

March 3, 2023

Consultation on the Community resilience assessments is now open.

To better understand the physical and social vulnerabilities our communities face to disasters and how we can build a more resilient community, we will be meeting and working with each of our neighbourhoods individually. We’re now asking for feedback from the Carlton and Kensington communities.

You can share your feedback by:

  • completing the online survey to provide your thoughts on the vulnerabilities and strengths of Kensington or Carlton
  • popping into the Kensington Community Fresh Food Market on Saturday 4 March, 10am to 12pm at Skinny Park (Bellair Street Reserve Kensington – near Macaulay Road) to chat with City of Melbourne about this project and how to be involved
  • submitting an Expression of Interest by Friday 17 March to participate in the Community Resilience Assessment in Kensington
  • identifying any places in the Kensington neighbourhood you believe might be vulnerable in the event of a disaster.

Consultation closes 23 May 2023.
