Six finalists ready to pitch their visions for Fishermans Bend

July 1, 2022

From raingardens made from recycled materials to dating apps for buildings, six exciting concepts seek to solve challenges in the Fishermans Bend precinct.

Responding to the challenge statement and criteria, three concepts were selected as finalists in each of the two streams – Pilot and Ideas. The finalists demonstrate unique innovative concepts across a variety of themes including community connection, circular economy, safety and wellbeing, climate resilience, storytelling and more.

On 28 July, in front of a live and online audience, these six concepts will be put under the microscope by our judges and community. Join us to hear them pitch their concepts and vote for your favourite in each category. Prizes for the top three Ideas will be announced on the night, with all three entries sharing cash and prizes worth more than $20k. The Pilot pitches will battle it out to win over the judges and the community, with the winner getting the opportunity to work with City of Melbourne to bring their Pilot to life in the next 12 months.

Learn about the six finalists and register to join us at the Fishermans Bend Innovation Challenge Pitch Night on 28 July at 6pm.
