In April 2020, City of Melbourne will begin works to improve Enterprize Park, including:

  • reconfiguration of the current open space to improve amenity and accessibility
  • removal of the non-structural plinths beneath the railway viaduct to create more flexible and usable spaces, expanding green space by 1,000 square meters
  • introduction of new seating along the river’s edge, as well as new accessible pathways and wider stairways
  • reinstatement of indigenous vegetation.

Next steps

Construction works began on-site in late April 2020, which started with early works demolition of the non-structural plinths beneath the railway viaduct.
