New date for Heritage Council hearing on heritage permit refusal

September 29, 2020

A new date for the Heritage Council hearing on the heritage permit refusal for the Fawkner Park Pasley Street North Entrance Improvements has been scheduled.

The hearing to review the heritage permit refusal was postponed in March 2020 due to public health considerations relating to COVID-19. The Heritage Council have advised that the hearing will now be held via video conference on Friday 2 October and Monday 5 October 2020. Interested members of the public may observe the proceeding. For further information and to register to attend the hearing, please contact the Heritage Council of Victoria.

In preparation for the hearing, we have uploaded two additional plans to our website showing adjustments made to the Final Concept Plan and a simplified colour version of the detailed landscape plan submitted to Heritage Victoria during the heritage permit application process.

The key changes from the previous plans are that no court lighting is proposed and the court surface is now green.

For more information about the project, see the coloured concept plan.
