We know that graffiti tagging impacts cleanliness and feelings of safety in an area, while strategically placed street art can significantly enhance the look and feel of a location.
Our aim is to build on our existing Graffiti Management Plan 2014-18 which focuses on:
- eradicating unwanted graffiti tagging through our graffiti removal program
- preventing graffiti through education
- cultivating high quality street art.
We want your feedback to guide our updated approach to managing and reducing unwanted graffiti in the city. Community consultation was open from 23 November to 20 December.
