Ievers Reserve was historically a site of a watercourse connected to the Moonee Ponds Creek and provides an ideal location for works that will decrease local flooding and improve water sustainability. The works would include the installation of underground tanks and a pump station.

Preliminary site investigations have informed the proposed location of the tanks. If it is found that installation of the tanks and pump house is viable, then removal of some current amenities would be required. This would provide an opportunity to reinstate the reserve, and as part of our investigations we are seeking to better understand how community use this space.
