Ievers Reserve was historically a watercourse site, connected to Moonee Ponds Creek. It provides an ideal location for works that will decrease local flooding and improve water sustainability.

The City of Melbourne is developing a draft Landscape Concept Plan, which proposes the installation of underground tanks and a pump station to assist with decreasing flooding and water issues.

Preliminary site investigations have informed the proposed location of the tanks. If it is found that installation of the tanks and pump house is viable, then removal of some current amenities would be required. This would provide an opportunity to reinstate the reserve, and as part of our investigations we are seeking to better understand how community use this space.

This project is currently on hold and will progress subject to funding.
