Flood support and impacts

October 17, 2022

Recent flood waters have impacted parts of Kensington and West Melbourne.

The City of Melbourne is on the ground assisting residents and businesses, cleaning and clearing footpaths and roads. Fortunately, very few homes in Kensington have been affected.

Kensington Road was cleaned and cleared as a priority, and all roads in the municipality are now open.

Council staff are working around the clock to ensure footpaths around the Maribyrnong are cleaned and cleared, including Hobsons Road.
