Concept design

The new concept design for the Kensington Community Recreation Centre was developed from the first phase of consultation with the local community earlier this year.

The design highlights features that respond to feedback we heard during consultation, with more flexible spaces, additional multipurpose courts and an improved pool.

As part of our commitment to tackling climate change and reducing our emissions, the centre has been designed with a number of sustainability features.

The new centre will be equipped with:

  • solar panels
  • a new green wall
  • water conservation measures
  • efficient heating and cooling systems
  • double glazing.

Tell us what you think of the new design so we can develop a centre that's inclusive, sustainable and home to a diverse number of activities.
