Community members in the CBD have told us they would like to see more trees and greening in the inner city. MacKenzie Street has been identified as a priority tree planting street in the Central City Urban Forest Precinct Plan a key implementation tool of the Urban Forest Strategy.

We asked the community for their feedback on the proposed creation of a small park on the corner of MacKenzie and Victoria Streets, as well as further street greening for MacKenzie Street. Consultation was open from 12 February to 11 March 2024.
