City of Melbourne is proposing to deliver more open green space in Southbank – one of Melbourne’s busiest suburbs.

Miles and Dodds Street Reserve has been highlighted in our Open Space Strategy as an area that can be improved as its features are outdated and no longer meet the community’s needs. By upgrading the reserve, we can create a safer, greener and more welcoming space for everyone in Southbank to enjoy.

We’ve completed three rounds of community consultation and have received valuable feedback. The feedback will be used to review the draft concept plan. A recommendation with next steps will be presented to Council on Tuesday 3 June 2025 for consideration.
