My Friend the Moon
My Friend the Moon follows two siblings, Elsa and Martin, as they travel the countryside filming a documentary on the volcanoes of southwest Victoria. Along the way they share their history with their late father, a stern man who has left his mark on both of them, as well as the remarkable geological history of the Western District, one of the largest lava plains in the world.
The new Victorian feature film will be followed by a Q&A with director Mark La Rosa and actors Petra Glieson and Phil McInnes, moderated by The Age/Sydney Morning Herald film critic Jake Wilson.
