Late Night Study Space
Would you use a late-night study space in the city?
In a recent survey, international students said they wanted more late-night study space in the city. So we’re trialing this idea at Micro-Labs, a free and flexible City of Melbourne pop-up in the heart of the CBD. With free Wi-Fi, a kitchenette, bean bags, A4 printer, desks and chairs, a projector, a pop-up library and even hot and cold snacks, it’s the perfect study space for local students.
During these evening sessions, students can study or work on their school or university projects. The inside area is a quiet zone while the courtyard will be a breakout space and allow for group discussions. We'll collect feedback to understand the value of this idea for the student community in Melbourne.
