Talking Books - What Chinese New Year Means to Me

Join author Stephen Zhang with a reading about Chinese Lunar New Year and listen to four international students share their personal stories about their Chinese New Year. Chinese Lunar New Year treats and tea will be provided.

Wu lingyi, known as Stephen J. Zhang , born in Shanghai, is the president of Australian Chinese Writers Inc. (ACW) and Vice President of World Poetry. One of the mainstream Diaspora Chinese writers in Oceania.

He has won multiple awards including Chinese Writers Festival Prose Award, 3rd International Mini Poetry Competition, Overseas Chinese Writing Award and Southern California Field Award.

Connan Goh, Eva Su, Huimin Kristy Feng and Karyne Fung are international students currently in the My Melbourne student ambassador program.

Micro-Labs is a short walk from the Swanston Street and Bourke Street tram stops and a ten-minute walk from Flinders Street Station and Melbourne Central Station.
