Docklands Community Information Session Update

Members of the Docklands community have expressed concerns regarding the operations of ATET (floating nightclub) at North Wharf Road in Docklands.

City of Melbourne is holding a community information session to bring together the Docklands community and key stakeholders.

Details:

  • Doors will open at 5pm and tea and coffee will be available.
  • The event will start at 5.30pm sharp and conclude at 7.30pm.

Event location:

  • Medallion Club, Marvel Stadium. 740 Bourke Street, Docklands, 3008. Enter via Gate 9 and take the lift to level 2 and follow the signs to the Medallion Club.

How the evening will work:

  • This session is an independently facilitated community forum to hear concerns and share regulatory process information. We will have a brief introduction from MosaicLab, the facilitation team, who will share how the session will work.
  • All participants will then have an opportunity to share questions and concerns, these will be shared together as a whole group and noted down.
  • When the group is ready we will then hear responses to the questions and concerns that have been raised, we will get to as many as we can by the finish time of 7.30pm, any that are not answered on the night will be responded to in writing, more details will be provided on the night.

  • City of Melbourne, Environment Protection Authority, Department of Justice and Community Safety, Victoria Police.
