Piquancy Silent Heroes

A powerful and moving documentary celebrating the voices of migrants and multicultural communities in Melbourne.

‘Piquancy Silent Heroes’ captures deeply personal stories of identity, cultural exchange, and belonging. Written, directed and co-produced by Nandita Chakraborty, Victorian Multicultural Award winner for Excellence in Arts (2023), and co-produced by Niru Tripathi of CALD Community Voices, this film highlights the resilience and creativity of diverse individuals shaping our city.

Following the screening, join us for a Q&A with the creative team and featured voices from the documentary. The panel will be moderated by Dr. Sabi Kaphle and Gary Lee OAM.

This event is a celebration of storytelling, inclusion, and the strength of multicultural communities in Melbourne.
