fairy

fairy at the Pavilion in Fitzroy Gardens Open now at the Pavilion in Fitzroy Gardens is fairy. Curated by Mel Deerson and Spiros Panigirakis, fairy is an exhibition and public program exploring ‘fairies’ and queer presences. Through the month of March, the project will host a space for queer making, learning and performance.

The project will think through the possibilities and limitations of thinking of queerness as a fairy - a slippery spirit, hard to pin down. What queer presences are at play in the complex site of the Fitzroy Gardens? How does queerness and desire become visible? fairy plays out material and intangible ways queers circulate, contest and collect together.

Visit the exhibition Thursday to Saturday from 1pm to 6pm, and explore the program of events at https://fairyfitzroygardens.com.
