The new Kensington Community Aquatic and Recreation Centre will bring high-quality facilities to the community, including a new 25-metre pool, water play area, gym, community spaces and three indoor multi-sports courts.

Over the past few months, crews have completed significant tasks including installing the roof, working on the sports hall's electrical system, fitting out the pool's plant room, and framing the external walls.

Crews will now start tiling the wet areas such as the change rooms and pool shell, installing the lift, finishing off all internal and external glazing and preparing for mechanical works on the plant deck.

We’ve also made progress on the new café which will be accessible from the outside, so people visiting JJ Holland Park can grab a coffee.
