Kensington Circular Economy Precinct Launch

The City of Melbourne’s first Circular Economy Precinct officially kicks off at this month’s Kensington Market.

As the city of Melbourne evolves, the Kensington Circular Economy Precinct provides businesses and community with the tools to transition to a circular economy. The launch showcases the circular solutions offered to businesses in Kensington as well as community programs.

The launch includes a community-driven repair hub, a workshop and demonstrations from Precious Plastics and a tour of the Kensington Town Hall compost hub, where a dedicated compost worker will provide a tour and deep dive into composting techniques.

This is a free event. Booking not required.
