Flood education sessions

A series of community flood education sessions will be in Kensington and West Melbourne in May and June. Chat with representatives from City of Melbourne, Melbourne Water and VICSES, and learn how to find information about flood risk and actions you can take before, during and after a flood to stay safe.

Two sessions will be held in Kensington on 14 and 18 May - have a look at the events listing for more.

The education sessions aim to improve:

  • community awareness of flood risk
  • knowledge of how to be prepared for floods.

There are also future events planned for residents to come and learn how you can find information on your flood risk and actions you can take before, during and after a flood event to stay safe.
