Australian native edibles workshop

Explore native and Indigenous edible plants at an event crafted to connect with the land and excite your taste buds.

Expand your harvest, discover new flavours to enhance your cooking, and meet your fellow Southbank gardening community in this hands-on workshop.

You will leave this free session with:

  • Skills to confidently select species to suit your balcony or garden space
  • Knowledge how to pot-up tube stock and even take some plants home with you!
  • Knowledge of Victorian Indigenous edible plants with extra resources emailed to registered participants

Please bring your empty jars (for seeds), labels (e.g. paddle pop sticks), gloves, and tools. Or you can watch and learn and take a few samples home.

While this talk is free, you do need to register as seats are limited. Don't miss out on this opportunity to deepen your connection with nature, expand your gardening skills, and become a part of a thriving plant-loving community.

This event is brought to you by the Southbank Sustainability Group, through a City of Melbourne grant.
