What is holi?

Holi, also known as the festival of colours, is a vibrant celebration that marks the triumph of good over evil, and the love between Goddess Radha and Lord Krishna. Participants throw colourful water and powder on each another.

Everyone is invited to join the celebration and connect with others irrespective of age, race, caste, gender and status.

Some organic dry colour will be provided and people are also welcome to bring their own colours.

This is a non-alcoholic event. A cup of thandai will be provided. Thandai is a sweet Indian drink made with herbs and spices, full cream milk, and ice.

There will be a limited supply of bottled water for kids. Boyd Park also has drinking taps.
