VicPol commits to neighbourhood policing through survey launch

May 1, 2024

Victoria Police has launched its annual survey, asking community to feedback on key safety concerns. It also asks how people would like to interact with police and where it can focus efforts to prevent and deter crime.

The Community Sentiment Survey is quick, anonymous and for people of all backgrounds who live, work, and socialise in Victoria. It's available on the Engage Victoria website until 31 May.

How responses will be used

Survey responses help Victoria Police identify the issues our communities care most about and help develop local ways to tackle them. This includes working with partners on local safety plans to understand and address the key drivers of local crime and safety concerns.

A summary of key findings from the survey will be shared on Engage Victoria in the coming months.
