Located under the Kings Way overpass on the northern side of City Road, the Northern Undercroft is an underused space in one of our most densely populated suburbs.

We want to bring new life to this pocket of Southbank by delivering 5000sqm of new usable public space with areas for recreational activities, art installations and safety improvements.

We also plan to uplift City Road Park with more plants, new street furniture and a welcoming place to rest.

We want to hear from you about our draft design. Your feedback will help us shape the design which will be part of our applications for Victorian and federal government funding to deliver the project.

Share your feedback and tell us how you’d like to use the space.
