City of Melbourne is reviewing and updating parking across the city as we deliver on our Parking and Kerbside Management Plan. We are working to make sure the city’s finite parking and kerbside space works well for local businesses, residents and visitors. The parking controls that apply in each neighbourhood need to be simple, fair and effective.

As part of our neighbourhood parking reviews, we are running a series of workshops with the community.

The purpose of the workshops is to:

  • Provide an opportunity for you to share your experiences of parking in your neighbourhood.
  • Identify key parking issues in your neighbourhood and the locations where these issues occur.
  • Gain feedback on proposed parking improvement options.

Southbank

Our online check-in sessions will respond to recent community feedback about Southbank parking changes in line with the Parking and Kerbside Management Plan.

The sessions will be run by an external consultant who will discuss what we have heard from the community, the data that underpins recent parking changes and actions for the next review. You will also have an opportunity to have your say on parking in your area and key opportunities for the future of parking in Southbank.

These sessions will be recorded, and segments will be available online if you cannot attend live.

Register now and a link to the session and instructions will be sent at least 48 hours before the session.
