Retrofit Melbourne and Every Building Counts (Local Government) Launch

Join the City of Melbourne, GBCA, PCA, GCC and practical solution providers to jump start the transition to zero carbon buildings.

We are launching three initiatives to support industry to retrofit existing buildings to be zero carbon ready. Lord Mayor Sally Capp will welcome you to a conversation with the leading thinkers and program developers.

The City of Melbourne, Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA), the Property Council of Australia (PCA) and the Global Cooksafe Coalition (GCC) are proud to present a practical retrofit expo and launch of:

The City of Melbourne's Retrofit Melbourne Plan, a culmination of two years of work with industry and a series of initiatives that will support all building in the city of Melbourne becoming Zero Carbon Ready by 2040,

PCA and GBCA will launch their Every Building Counts (Local Government edition),

The Global Cooksafe Coalition discussing electrification of commercial kitchens, and

There will be a range of suppliers of zero carbon retrofit solutions, from decarbonisation plans, to heat pumps, solar facades, façade retrofits, and much, much more.

The aim of the event it to launch the various programs and to give everyone time to talk to solutions providers who can help get buildings Zero Carbon Ready.
