Fishermans Bend Recast Vision

May 27, 2016

From Friday 27 May to Friday 1 July 2016, you are invited to get involved and join the conversation on the Fishermans Bend Recast Vision. It is a vision that builds on the 10 Strategic Directions of the Draft Vision 2013 and takes into account the changed environment.

Fishermans Bend is Australia’s largest urban renewal project covering approximately 455 hectares in the heart of Melbourne. Led by the Victorian State Government, it will consist of five precincts that are across two municipalities – the cities of Melbourne and Port Phillip – and connects Melbourne’s CBD to the bay.

It is expected that by 2050, it will be home to approximately 80,000 residents and provide employment for up to 60,000 people. The urban renewal of this area offers a city-shaping opportunity of international significance.

If you love Melbourne and want to improve it, get involved in this public conversation about the vision for Fishermans Bend.

Find out how you can get involved and join the conversation from Friday 27 May until Friday 1 July at Fishermans Bend Recast Vision.
