For residents and people considering moving to postcode 3000.
The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Bunurong Boon Wurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past, present and emerging.
We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection the Wurundjeri, Bunurong, Dja Dja Wurrung, Taungurung and Wadawurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin have to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.
We are committed to our reconciliation journey, because at its heart, reconciliation is about strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal peoples, for the benefit of all Victorians.

Welcome to our first version of the Melbourne CBD Neighbourhood Portal.
This portal is a new one stop shop for all things relating to Melbourne's CBD. It has been designed with you in mind after broad consultations in the Melbourne CBD neighbourhood.
Here you can find information on what’s happening in the neighbourhood, including opportunities to connect and engage, see what your neighbourhood priorities are, and keep up-to-date on work already underway.
Through this portal you can see how we are exploring ways to further enhance connections and support, and read community stories that highlight programs and initiatives across the neighbourhood.
The portal will be regularly updated through neighbourhood planning and forms an integral part of our Neighbourhood Model, helping us to better understand the needs and priorities of our communities across the City of Melbourne.
Participate 3000 is for anyone and everyone who has a connection to the Melbourne CBD.
You may live, work or study here. You might own a business here. You might also play sport here. Or you might visit the many shops, restaurants, cafes, museums and big events the city has to offer.
Whatever your reason for being interested in the Melbourne CBD, or however you would like to participate, we think there will be something for you here.
