We're exploring the function and feel of North Melbourne and discovering what physical modifications or community initiatives might help improve liveability and accessibility for residents and visitors.

The Improving our neighbourhood project focuses on two aspects of this neighbourhood:

Our first phase of consultation on Improving our neighbourhood parks and streets ran from 28 April to 24 May 2021. Feedback showed strong community support for our proposal to create more public open space and street greening in and around Bedford and Courtney Street reserves.

The second phase of consultation closed 29 September 2022.
