City of Melbourne is always looking for new opportunities and ways to enable growth in the city, which is why we proposed to sell four properties that were no longer being used for a Council service. We assessed all of the properties in accordance with the Sale and Acquisition of Land Policy (PDF 125 KB) and believed they can serve a better purpose under new owners.

By selling these properties, we will reinvest the proceeds into city-shaping infrastructure projects and the capital works program. It was an opportunity to think about how we want to evolve as a city and be bold in creating a better future for Melbourne.
Consultation closed 7 August 2022. The three properties were sold in 2023.

Current use | Leased to private commercial organisation MAMA – Midwives and Mothers Australia. |
Former use | Land acquired from developer through the Kensington Banks Development, and designated for community purposes by Council in 2001. |
