The Startup Photo Library New Collection is now live

December 23, 2019

Check out the new collection of images in our award-winning Startup Photo Library. We’ve combined forces with That Startup Show to create engaging images that showcase the vibrant and diverse Melbourne startup ecosystem. The images are a free resource for the global startup community.

The Startup Photo Library has over 1400 images from 22 locations and features over 150 real people from the startup community. Since the launch of the Startup Photo Library in 2017 images have been featured and seen by millions in startup media across Australia. The Startup Photo Library was also recognised for its efforts in promoting diversity and inclusion in media by the Tech Diversity Awards, firstly in 2017 and again in 2018.

The New Collection called 'Scale: Our Urban Life' – which has been photographed in the emerging Melbourne Innovation District as part of Melbourne Startup Action Plan – features new spaces such as:

  • Queen Victoria Market
  • the Spatial Information Architecture Laboratory (SIAL)
  • RMIT’s New Academic Street
  • streetscapes near the newly reopened State Library of Victoria.

It is centred around the themes of liveability, cafe culture, social impact and wellbeing, with a focus on food and beverage innovators, future music creations, and amplifying street art via technology.
