New biodiversity assessment report released

September 22, 2017

A new biodiversity assessment report, released today, highlights four key principles that will govern the way in which we approach tree removal and existing possum/microbat populations in University Square and Lincoln Square.

The key objectives of the report were to quantify numbers of bats, birds and possums in University Square, Lincoln Square and surrounding streets prior to commencing proposed master plan works, and to identify mitigation options and strategies to consider when removing potential habitat during and after construction.
