Enjoy a bike tour of Fishermans Bend using the guide below. The tour will take you to all sites proposed for protection in the Melbourne Planning Scheme or the Victorian Heritage Register, as well as sites of local interest that provide additional context to experiencing ‘the Bend’.

Things to remember:

  • Your helmet and sunscreen.
  • Allow time for stopping, reading and reflecting.
  • We recommend cycling on the shared pedestrian / cycling path, as shown on the tour map.
  • Maintain safe social distancing practices and wear your mask while you stop and read about sites.
  • Please always cross the street at signaled pedestrian crossings, or if they do not exist, in a location with high visibility in either direction.

This tour is suitable for all ages and cycling abilities, but children and teenagers should be accompanied by an adult due to Fishermans Bend being a working industrial and port precinct.
