During the past two years of rolling lockdowns, we heard that many of us valued living more locally - cherishing the parks and open spaces within 5kms and exploring and finding out more about the hidden gems in our neighbourhood that we might have otherwise missed.

From 18 October to 16 December 2021 we asked what you missed the most, where you couldn’t wait to go and who you couldn’t wait to see. We also wanted to know what you learned during lockdown that you might want to take along with you, and how we might make the CBD neighbourhood the best it could be.

From 22 March to 19 April 2022, we shared the draft neighbourhood priorities for the Melbourne CBD to find out how well we’d captured the priorities, whether there was anything missing or if refinements could be made.
