What will the future economy of Melbourne look like? Will the sharing economy and other new forms of ownership, production and value exchange take centre stage?

Join thought leaders, community and industry stakeholders to discover the resources, strengths and assets we have as a community. You’re invited to dream big so get ready to muster your most creative ideas for the most sustainable and prosperous economy of tomorrow as we map the future together.

Vision Mapping is the first of two workshops facilitated by Darren Sharp (Social Surplus) and Jose Ramos (Action Foresight) that combine digital mapping, strategic foresight and prototyping to imagine changes to our economy over the coming decade.

This workshop will be a fun exploration of the future economy using digital maps as a sandbox for community asset mapping and canvas from which to dream in a geo-spatially rich way to feed social conversations about the future.

Attendance at both workshops is recommended but not essential.
